Thomas Denes
Thomas Denes competes in Masters swimming competition at both the national and international levels. He is a coach of the Montgomery Ancient Mariners, a United States Masters swimming club in Montgomery County, Maryland. Although he is not as fast as he once was, his enthusiasm is at an all time high. He lives in Montgomery County, Maryland, with his trusty partner, Cathy, and their magic dog, Pepper.
Desiree Ficker
Desiree Ficker is a former professional triathlete and duathlete from Potomac, Maryland. In 2006, she placed 2nd overall in the IRONMAN World Championships in Kona, Hawaii with a time of 9:24. In 2008, she competed in the Women’s Marathon 2008 U.S. Olympic Team trials and finished with a time of 2:48. She lives in Austin, Texas.
